Description of finite element model of Ermak Ice Arena in Angarsk

A finite element model of the building was developed so that to fully describe behavior of the structure not only on a macro level but also on the level of each pillar, crossbar, etc. The received model makes it possible not only to see displacement and force factors in the framing bit also to look into each structural element, show tension in reinforcement and embedded items. In addition, the model developed in this way considers joint operation of concrete and reinforcement in the nonlinear setting bringing the calculation to a higher level.
The model considers eccentricity of framing pillars and initial slope of braced panels and pillars of a tent.

Shown below is a completed finite element model of the structure.
Number of joints in the model =1,420,000, number of elements =1,623,000.
